The FICX celebrates its 63rd edition, firmly established as one of Spain’s leading festivals for independent and auteur cinema. For one week, Gijón becomes a meeting point for filmmakers and audiences, showcasing the best in international contemporary cinema.

Its various sections —Albar, Retueyos, FICX Premiere, Generación Mutante, and Enfants Terribles— bring together feature films, shorts and documentaries from around the world, alongside talks, industry meetings and public events.
