Pumarín: an artistic district
This is a community art programme that proposes working with the neighbourhood through shared artistic creation, popular culture and collective wellbeing. Aimed at young people aged 16 to 30.
- Thursday, 12 February · 6:30 pm. Creative workshop. Asociación Branque (Pumarín)
Workshop led by Dido Carrero, artist and researcher whose practice connects contemporary art, science and cultural mediation. A first session designed to activate the collective process and create a space for meeting and exchange among participants.
- Friday, 13 February · 6:00 pm. Public gathering
Collective conversation with Dido Carrero, Elise Florentino, Julia Sousa and La Bambi, moderated by Candela Guerrero, focusing on community art, situated creation and wellbeing. The event will close with a performance by La Bambi, centred on the body, identity and the relationship with space.
- February – May. Monthly artistic laboratories
A cycle of collective creation laboratories exploring different artistic languages — muralism, audiovisual, performance and illustration — through a participatory methodology with a strong focus on care.
- 29–30 May · Final event. Artistic routes through Pumarín
Public presentation of the pieces, interventions and actions developed throughout the project, conceived as a return to the neighbourhood and a celebration of the community.
