The legendary pianist and composer Chucho Valdés, the most influential figure in modern Afro-Cuban jazz, returns to the stage with his new tour Cuba and Beyond. With a career spanning more than sixty years, Valdés has continually reinvented his sound, blending Afro-Cuban tradition with classical music, rock and jazz.

Son of the great Ramón “Bebo” Valdés and winner of six GRAMMY Awards and seven Latin GRAMMYs, Chucho remains a global reference in jazz. On this tour, he performs with his Royal Quartet — Roberto Jr. Vizcaíno (percussion), José A. Gola (bass) and Horacio “El Negro” Hernández (drums) — in a vibrant celebration of rhythm, improvisation and musical mastery.
