From September 5 to 7, between 12:00 and 22:00, the Luis Adaro Trade Fairgrounds in Gijón will once again host CometCon, the largest alternative culture and leisure event in Asturias and one of the leading gatherings in northern Spain. Since 2013, it has brought together thousands of fans of science fiction, comics, literature, music, cosplay, video games, board games, role-playing, film and collecting.

The 2025 edition will feature a large gaming area with the latest technology, virtual reality experiences and tournaments, alongside popular competitions such as Dance Arena, CometCon Talent and the Cosplay Stage. Visitors will also enjoy a Maker Zone with STEAM workshops, drones and 3D printing, as well as talks, activities for all ages and appearances from special guests.

Sponsored by Gijón Impulsa, the event will also host its own series of STEAM-focused workshops. Tickets are already available online.
