The Conference Palace hosted yesterday, February 13, the second informative session on Oviedo’s candidacy for the title of European Capital of Culture 2031.

“This is a process of participation and active listening that we will keep open over the coming months, with the goal of collaboratively enriching the content of the Candidacy Project from different perspectives. The aim is to ensure that citizens can access, participate in, and enjoy cultural practices under equal conditions, while also fostering creativity, innovation, and cultural diversity, strengthening social cohesion, and supporting the local creative and cultural sector,” explained the project coordinator, Pepe Mompeán, addressing an audience of over a hundred representatives from social centers, community groups, associations, and socially oriented enterprises.
