Meidinerz Jazz Club- Bandolero
Meidinerz Jazz Club hosts a concert led by Bandolero, a key figure in contemporary flamenco percussion and a leading voice in the dialogue between flamenco and jazz. With more than three decades of experience, he has been part of landmark projects in Spanish music and has collaborated with major international artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Ricky Martin, Chano Domínguez, Antonio Serrano and Dave Holland, as well as iconic flamenco performers including Enrique Morente, Pepe Habichuela, Jorge Pardo, Sara Baras and Diego “El Cigala”.
In this project, Bandolero brings together jazz and flamenco as closely related musical languages, open to rhythm and improvisation, shaping a distinctive and thoroughly contemporary sound. He is joined by two outstanding musicians: pianist Álex Conde, one of today’s leading figures in flamenco-jazz, with training at Berklee College of Music and a strong international career, and trumpeter Enrique Rodríguez “Enriquito”, known for his highly personal style and for moving effortlessly between flamenco, jazz and popular music.
Together, Bandolero, Álex Conde and Enriquito deliver a powerful and elegant trio, where rhythm, virtuosity and emotion come together in a highly engaging live performance.
