Some films are simply watched… others stay with you. This spring, the RADAR cycle returns, inviting audiences to rediscover cinema on the big screen, through classics that shaped an era and contemporary works that speak to the present.

The 2026 edition focuses on two essential figures of American cinema, John Huston and Marilyn Monroe, with iconic titles such as The Asphalt Jungle and The Misfits. Alongside them, the Romanian Film Showcase and a selection of recent films complete a programme that travels across time, styles and geographies.

An invitation to be carried away by the light of the screen and to celebrate cinema as a shared language, in line with Oviedo’s bid to become European Capital of Culture 2031.
