TRÍO ARBÓS – Figures of Air and Fire
Winners of Spain’s National Music Prize 2013, the Trío Arbós are one of Europe’s leading chamber ensembles. Founded in Madrid in 1996, they have performed on stages such as the Konzerthaus in Vienna, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and the Berlin Philharmonie. Now, they bring their artistry to CIMCO with a dazzling program dedicated to Spanish music.
The evening features works by Enrique Granados, Joaquín Turina and Jesús Torres. And there’s a highlight: Torres’s Malagueña Ausente will be performed with the strength and elegance of dancer Olimpia Oyonarte, bringing Spanish dance to the CIMCO stage for the very first time.
A one-of-a-kind night of air, fire… and pure art.
