CIMCO (Interdisciplinary Chamber Music Series of Oviedo) was born in 2021 with a clear goal: to bring chamber music closer to new audiences in a music-loving city like Oviedo. The series aims to break down barriers, especially with younger audiences or those who haven’t yet had direct contact with academic music, by offering an intimate, accessible format full of fresh ideas.

CIMCO takes place at the Príncipe Felipe Auditorium, one of the city’s major cultural venues, a modern building that repurposed Oviedo’s former water tanks, now integrated into its interior architecture. This closeness between artists and audience makes CIMCO a unique experience, combining quality, intimacy, and new ways of experiencing music.
