Concerts at the Auditorium and the Luis G. Iberni Piano Series

The Concerts at the Auditorium and the Luis G. Iberni Piano Series have been based at the Príncipe Felipe Auditorium since their creation, although their early editions began in a smaller format at the Campoamor Theatre. Today, this program ranks among the top five symphonic seasons in Spain and has become an undisputed benchmark along the northern coast of the country.

This music series positions Oviedo as a true cultural capital, capable of setting trends and forging alliances with major European production centers. In fact, nearly 90% of the orchestras and artists involved come from across Europe, and from Oviedo, the city works actively in network with other Spanish and international orchestras, promoting commissions for composers throughout the European Union.

This season will bring to the city world-class artists such as Sonya Yoncheva, Sondra Radvanovsky, Grigory Sokolov, and Joyce DiDonato, as well as top-tier ensembles like Les Arts Florissants, the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, and — for the first time in Oviedo — the prestigious Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra under the baton of Klaus Mäkelä, one of the most sought-after conductors on the international scene.
