The LINK Festival 2025 kicks off its sixth edition at the Fábrica de Armas in La Vega.

The LINK Festival 2025 was inaugurated today, Friday, August 29, at 11:30 a.m. at the Fábrica de Armas in La Vega, in a ceremony attended by the Oviedo City Council led by Mayor Alfredo Canteli, representatives of the Ministry of Defense, and the team behind Oviedo’s bid for European Capital of Culture 2031.

Now in its sixth edition, LINK once again transforms Oviedo into a creative laboratory where art, technology, and citizenship engage in dialogue without boundaries. Over the weekend, audiences will be able to enjoy four extended reality experiences —featuring virtual reality, augmented reality, and 360º cinema— along with two immersive audiovisual installations, as well as workshops and participatory activities.

Opening hours at the Fábrica de Armas de La Vega are as follows:

Friday, August 29: 4:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m

Saturday, August 30: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m

Sunday, August 31: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

All activities are free of charge, with limited capacity and entry on a first-come, first-served basis. The extended reality experiences require free registration at the Fábrica de Armas on the same day of the activity.

With this edition, LINK reaffirms its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and citizen participation, consolidating its place as one of the city’s most distinctive cultural festivals.
