The Centro Niemeyer will host the 11th edition of the Avilés LGTBI Film Festival, taking place from April 9 to 19, 2026, further establishing itself as a key space where cinema, culture, and diversity come together.

Over eleven days, the festival will showcase more than twenty national and international titles, alongside a parallel programme featuring panel discussions, live music, and exhibitions—turning the event into much more than a film festival: a true meeting point.

The programme is structured around its competitive sections, Panorama (feature films) and Miradas (short films), both offering a carefully curated selection of recent works that explore different experiences and expressions of desire through contemporary, committed, and diverse perspectives.
