Festival Sin Límites- CMU

The Conseyu de la Mocedá d’Uviéu presents a new edition of Festival Sin Límites, an initiative focused on inclusion, participation and social awareness around disability.

The festival aims to highlight the active role of young people—especially those with functional diversity—promoting their full participation in social, cultural and community life. Beyond support, the programme encourages awareness and recognises people’s abilities, rights and contributions.

With roots going back to 1998, the festival is part of the CMU’s ongoing work to create more accessible, diverse and participatory spaces. Since 2006, through the “Associacionism and Disability” working group, these efforts have taken shape in projects like this one, combining culture, reflection and shared experiences.

The programme includes artistic proposals such as Fragmento, by Experimenta Danza, and the screening of Sorda (Spain, 2025), directed by Eva Libertad. It also features an introductory sign language workshop designed to bring this communication tool closer to the public and promote more inclusive communication.

An invitation to look at diversity from a different perspective: without barriers, with awareness and as a community.
