Cornellana hosts a new edition of the Salmon Fair, declared a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest, becoming a meeting point for fishing enthusiasts, nature lovers and visitors from across Spain.

Over two days, the event celebrates rural life, traditions and gastronomy, with activities linked to hunting, fishing and the natural environment.

One of the highlights is the Campanu auction, featuring the first salmon of the season, which takes place as soon as it is caught — a unique and symbolic moment in Asturias.

The programme also includes a virtual shooting competition (Capenastur), a nature photography contest and a gathering of Galician artisans in tribute to Belarmino Martínez.
