Oviedo 2031 team meets with cultural curators to define next steps

The team behind Oviedo’s bid for European Capital of Culture 2031 held a meeting yesterday with the curators involved so far, addressing key issues for the development of the project and outlining the next steps to take.
During the meeting, the curators presented their proposals in each discipline and highlighted topics of particular relevance, such as industrial heritage and the choral tradition. The importance of fostering interdisciplinary projects and strengthening connections with Europe was also emphasized. In addition, updates were shared on the review of the projects submitted through the Call for Expressions of Interest, whose promoters will be contacted in the coming weeks.
These meetings are held on a regular basis with the aim of continuing to gather ideas, encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration, and strengthen the involvement of curators as an essential part of the bid.
