What if art could help us imagine new ways of living, working and caring for our planet? The first edition of the Climate Biennial transforms Avilés into a vibrant space for creativity, dialogue and collective reflection. Under the title Rehearsing the Unexpected, more than 40 national and international artists explore some of today’s most pressing challenges — from climate change and industrial transformation to the relationship between urban and rural life. Through exhibitions, installations, walks, talks and participatory activities, the Biennial invites visitors to discover how culture can inspire new perspectives and possible futures.
