Langreo Offers Full Support to Oviedo’s Candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2031

The mayor of Langreo, Roberto García, expressed today, Monday, March 24, his full support for Oviedo’s candidacy to become the European Capital of Culture in 2031. He did so during a meeting held with the mayor of Oviedo, Alfredo Canteli.

The mayor of Oviedo visited the Langreo City Hall, accompanied by the Director of the Candidacy, Rodolfo Sánchez, and presented to Mayor Roberto García the main aspects of the project, emphasizing its aim to be a regional initiative, not just from the Asturian capital.

The meeting clearly reflected the commitment of both mayors and their support for regional-scale projects that can bring benefits to all Asturians
