LEV (Laboratory of Visual Electronics)

It is a platform for production, experimentation, and dissemination dedicated to electronic sound creation, digital art, and contemporary audiovisual practices. Born in Gijón and with over 19 years of experience, LEV is a space for research and exchange between established artists, emerging talents, and diverse audiences—always in sync with technological innovation and new forms of artistic expression.

Each edition of the festival offers a vibrant and eclectic program that combines audiovisual performances, concerts, live acts, installations, immersive experiences in virtual and augmented reality, exhibitions, and workshops. Through these formats, LEV presents a snapshot of the current state of digital and sonic creation, its intersections with other disciplines, and its capacity to generate new narratives.

Beyond its annual festival, LEV maintains year-round activity through decentralized programs such as LEVents, artist residencies, workshops on creative digital tools, and collaborations with institutions, networks, and national and international projects. Its development is driven by a restless, ever-evolving spirit that seeks to break molds and explore the boundaries of contemporary creativity.

LEV is a space to discover, experiment, and immerse oneself in the digital avant-garde—open to anyone curious about the most surprising frontiers of art and technology.
